It has been revealed Manchester Anthony Martial has a stunning £100m price-tag on his head.

The Red Devils are desperate to keep the France international despite his agent revealing he wants to leave Old Trafford.

And United will demand a Premier League record fee for the 22-year-old if he is to leave Jose Mourinho's side.

Martial’s representative Philippe Lamboley confirmed SunSport’s story that United want the former Monaco ace to sign a contract extension as he has one year left and an option remaining.

But he added that “Anthony wants to leave Manchester United” and “he needs to resume his career”.

United’s stance could see him at loggerheads with Martial’s representatives as they are demanding such a massive fee.

The Premier League side would prefer not to sell him to a rival as there is still belief he he can establish himself as one of the best forwards in England.

Mourinho let the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah slip through his fingers at Chelsea and there are fears another huge talent could be wasted in the Frenchman.

Players are impressed with the rising star in training but Martial has gone down the pecking order in the Special One’s plans.

He started just 18 Premier League games last season, although his goal tally from them and sub appearances was nine.

His signed by United three years ago in a deal worth £60m with add-ons, with Mourinho wanting much more for him to leave for Chelsea or Tottenham.

Meanwhile, had earlier reported Alexandre Lacazette and Anthony Martial were dropped by in the final 23-man squad that played the World Cup.
