- The 26-year-old is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and a couple other EPL clubs
- He scored just two goals in 23 league appearances for the Westfalenstadion in the 2017-18 league season
Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly launched a bid to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze this summer.
The attacker, who scored Germany's winning goal against Argentina at the final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil failed to make a respectable impact for his German League side last term due to incessant injury.
However, despite having two more seasons on his current contract with the Westfalenstadion outfit, the 26-year-old is considering a move away from the Bundesliga.
The attacker is also said to be wanted by Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as he braces up for intense competition in the coming league season.
Meanwhile, the Mirror claims the German club side will be willing to let their short midfielder leave only if his suitors are willing to cough out £18 million.
The Gunners, according to Tribal Football are just one of the five Premier League clubs who are planning to sign the Germany international before the start of next season.
Apart from the two north London clubs, Everton and West Ham United are also said to be interested in signing the 26 year old.
