Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shows off the picture of his £250,000 worth blue Aston Martin car on his Instagram page.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward and his Gabonese national team will not be participating in this year’s FIFA World Cup following their inability to book a ticket during the qualification stage.

However, with the Premier League season done and dusted, Aubameyang has commenced his personal training to keep his fitness level on point ahead of the 2018-19 league season.

The 28-year-old joined the Gunners during the winter transfer window from his former German league side in a £57.38 million deal and scored 10 goals in 13 matches for the club.

While posting the picture he said that: “Let's go for some runs,” in a Nike tracksuit top.

According to Daily Mail, Aubameyang may have returned to his former club in Germany to train at their facility as his car’s plate number suggests he’s in Germany.

Gabon failed to qualify for the 2018 edition of the championship after finishing behind Morocco and Ivory Coast on Group C table with six points from six matches.

The Gunners striker will be hoping to work along with the club’s new signings ahead of next term as they have already confirmed the signing of veteran full back Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer from Juventus on Tuesday.

The Switzerland international becomes the first Gunners signing confirmed since Unai Emery succeeded Arsene Wenger as manager.

Emery told the club website: 'Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad. He's a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch.'

This comes after it emerged that the player was seeking a move away from Germany with Everton set to submit an ambitious January offer for the striker.
