Nigerian entertainers (actors, musicians, dancers, DJ’s) are expected to be examples of good behaviour. But unfortunately, our celebs forget this from time to time.
A Nigerian woman recently took to Twitter to share an experience she had at a party held to celebrate Children’s Day.
The lady who was identified as Asaolu Oluwadunsin wrote on how a disc jockey hired to entertain kids at the party where addiction and abuse were the main topic went ahead to play the song Codeine Diet for the children to dance to.
Codeine Diet is a song released by DJ Enimoney and it features Reminisce, Tiwa Savage and Slimcase. The song has been slammed by a certain group of people who think the song promotes the use of narcotics and opiates like Codeine.
However, there are others who say the song is literally a mirror of things that are happening in the country especially regarding narcotics abuse.
This is coming after a fan took to Instagram to mock the kids of veteran musician 2baba Idibia. The fan said they looked like they were suffering.
