- Paris Saint Germain star Neymar says he wants to play for Man City boss Guardiola
- The 26-year-old currently has a deal with his French League side until the summer of 2021
- He is however wanted by Real Madrid as they plan to strengthen their squad for competition next season
Brazil superstar Neymar has reportedly sent a come get me plea to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after admitting that he wants to play for the Spaniard.
The 26-year-old joined Paris Saint Germain last in the summer of 2017 in a world record fee from Barcelona, but he has been tipped with a move away from the club barely one season after joining them.
His first season at the French club got ruined by injury after hurting his leg in PSG’s 3-0 victory over Marseille in a French Cup game back in February.
However, the former Barcelona man, who joined the Catalans shortly after Guardiola quit his position at the Nou Camp - winning 14 trophies in four record-breaking seasons says he would love to have the opportunity to link up with the tactician in the future.
"I've always wanted to work with Guardiola. He's different," Neymar told ESPN Brazil.
"I arrived (in Barcelona) a year after he left. I really want to work with him."
His £200 million deal last summer remains the world’s record fee in the history of football transfer deals; and might set a new one if his deal from the ligue 1 side is sanctioned this summer.
The Brazilian has constantly been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but new development states that the forward will prefer a move to the Etihad Stadium sometime soon.
He is nearing full fitness for his national team as they continue their preparations for this year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia next month.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the former Barcelona forward is reportedly ready to complete a move to Spanish side Real Madrid.
Since the Brazilian star moved to France last year from Barcelona, he has been a target for Real Madrid who want to bring him back to the La Liga.
According to the report by Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Neymar wants to move to Real Madrid for him to play alongside Portugal international Ronaldo.
