Senator Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) has reacted to reports that he is set to decamp from the All Progressives Congress.
There had been reports that the outspoken senator was planning to leave the ruling party as a result of the crisis rocking the Kaduna chapter of the party.
Legit.ng notes that on his Facebook page, Sani mocked various reports credited to him; and also taunted his opponents for being afraid of his plans.
As he posted:
Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that the Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi-led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna state said it was considering defecting to another political party, barely few months to the 2019 general elections.
The group, known as APC Akida, in a statement in Kaduna on Friday, May 25, said it had concluded a review of the state of the party and governance issues in the state and the nation, and was considering leaving the party they worked hard to put in place.
Prominent among the group are Senator Shehu Seni; Isah Ashiru, former APC governorship aspirant; Mataimaki Tom Maiyashi, among others.
