Mohamed Salah will miss Ramadan fast against Real Madrid

- Mohamed Salah will not fast on Saturday, May 26, which is the Champions League final day

- This is according to Liverpool physiotherapist Ruben Pons who confirmed the development

- The Egypt international is expected to lead Liverpool attack against Real Madrid in Kiev

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is now expected to miss the Ramadan fast on Saturday, May 26, when his side take on Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Since the start of the 2018 Muslims Ramadan, there have been many talks on whether Mohamed Salah will be able to fast on the day his side will face Real Madrid in Kiev.

This is as a result of his superb performances at the just concluded Premier League season where Liverpool finished fourth on the final standings.

Liverpool physiotherapist Ruben Pons has claimed that the 25-year-old Egypt international will be eating in the build-up to the final.

"We were in Marbella and the nutritionist established a work plan.

"Friday and the day of the match he won't, so it's not going to affect him,'' Ruben Pons told Spanish radio station Cadena SER according to UK Mirror.

Earlier, had reported how Egypt international Mohamed Salah is expected to face religious dilemma after his club qualified for the final of the 2017/18 Champions League.

This is because Salah is practicing Muslim and the Islamic festival of Ramadan which requires fasting during daylight hours for a month started on May 16.
