Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly revealed plans to bring in three more additions in the summer after signing a new five-year deal worth £42.5 million with Premier League outfit.

The Mirror reports that the Argentinean has been given the nod to beef up the squad in the summer after meeting with club’s chairman Daniel Levy over his transfer budget

Pochettino now plans to land Manchester United's want-away star, Anthony Martial, alongside teenage Ajax defender, Matthijs de Ligt, and Fulham's whizkid, Ryan Sessegnon, who are on the radar of the White Hart Lane dwellers.

Reacting after extending his deal, the 46-year-old Pochettino who has led Spurs into three successive Champions League campaigns, said: “I am honoured to have signed a new long-term contract as we approach one of the most significant periods in the club's history and be the manager that will lead this team into our new world-class stadium.”

Pochettino, whose coaching staff have also signed new deals, had sparked concerns over his future after ending the season with an epic 5-4 win over Leicester, but Thursday's new deal ends fears among Spurs fans that the man who has transformed their club could defect to a European rival.

Pochettino is now set to perform significant surgery this summer to raise funds and reshape his squad in readiness for Tottenham's move into their new stadium next season.
