Premier League campaigners Liverpool were given a prestigious reception in Ukraine as they landed in Kiev for their UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday, May 26.
The Reds jet out for their final and the most important match of the season as they hope to land their sixth UCL title of their career.
Jurgen Klopp’s men reached their first final of the competition after edging Roma out in the semifinals 7-6 on aggregate to set up a final with the most successful team in Europe.
The English topflight side landed in Kiev airport around 19:45 in a Boeing 737-406 jet and they were first received by a small player in the form of a favorite club.
The youngster presented a bouquet to his idol, Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, who eventually signed on the ball he was juggling.
Kiev airport border guards also showed the English club support by painting part of their faces red while clearing them for entry in to the country.
The command of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine supported the bold action of Shocking Welcome and decided to meet the guests in a creative way.

However, they will be hoping to win their sixth UEFA top club tournament this weekend as they posted the pictures of the entire team boarding their chartered flight to Ukraine for the crunch game.
