Arsenal are now said to be ready to make a move for the signing of Paris-Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot after being dropped from the 2018 France World Cup squad.

The 23-year-old star is said to be livid with his omission from the French squad and blamed PSG and his lack of active playing times at the just concluded season in France.

Calciomercato report that Arsenal could now move for Rabiot and offer him assurances about his future on the pitch.

Newly appointed Arsenal coach Unai Emery and Rabiot worked together in the French capital and won the domestic treble last season before the Spaniard left the club.

Rabiot has a year remaining on his contract though it is claimed the 23-year-old could help push a bargain deal through.

He spent most of his career with Paris Saint-Germain, making his debut with the first team in 2012 and winning 15 major honors, including four consecutive Ligue 1 titles and a treble in 2015–16.

Rabiot made his debut for France on 15 November, 2016 against Ivory Coast, starting and being replaced by Thomas Lemar after 78 minutes of the 0–0 friendly home draw.
