Newly appointed Arsenal coach Unai Emery and Rabiot worked together in the French capital and won the domestic treble last season before the Spaniard left the club.

Rabiot has a year remaining on his contract though it is claimed the 23-year-old could help push a bargain deal through.

Rabiot made his debut for France on 15 November, 2016 against Ivory Coast, starting and being replaced by Thomas Lemar after 78 minutes of the 0–0 friendly home draw.
