Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he is not close to retirement after revealing that he feels he is ten years younger than his present age.

The Portuguese forward turned 33 years on February 5 this year and he has insisted that he will continue to play active football till he is 41.

He has won four Champions League titles in his career, and he will have the chance to set a new record by winning the title the third consecutive time when they battle Liverpool in Kiev on Saturday, May 26.

Ronaldo is in the position to win the European golden boot as he currently has 15 UCL goals, and he said during an interview with Spanish television programme El Chiringuito that: “Right now I have a biological age of 23.

The former Manchester United also claims that he is happy with his achievements and his performances, adding that he is looking forward to the final UEFA top tier clash this weekend.

“I've still got a long time left; I can keep playing until I'm 41. I'm feeling good, happy, I can't complain. We are playing another final on Saturday and the fans are behind Cristiano.

Ronaldo also insisted that despite always being written off and Real Madrid looking for successors, no-one has been able to oust him from the starting line-up.

He added: “I've been here for eight years and people always say 50 players are coming here but in the end no-one comes.

"In September people think lots of players are going to come but the ones who take us to finals are always the same ones.

“The best players are already at Madrid. Bale, Benzema, (Lucas) Vazquez, (Marco) Asensio. They are all here.”

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 from the Red Devils and he has won everything with the club including three Champions League titles, two La Ligas and several other continental and domestic cups.
