Tony Elumelu Foundation has recently accepted applications for the 4th cycle of its entrepreneurship program and now the full list of winners is known. There are also many Nigerian businessmen on this list.

Who is Tony Elumelu?

He is a Nigerian economist, businessman and philanthropist. Tony Elumelu is also famous as Chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa and Transnational Corporation of Nigeria and founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation.

This Foundation created a program for African young entrepreneurs. Tony Elumelu Foundation grants worth all efforts. The applicants get training, mentorship and seed capital investment of $5,000 for their business after a successful business plan completion.

These winners are the best among other 150,000 applicants. According to TEEP they are the best African businessmen “with the most innovative, high-potential business ideas” and they deserve the grants for entrepreneurs.
