Chelsea starlet Isaac Christie-Davies is set to quit the Blues for Liverpool, after being snubbed for a new deal, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been snubbed for a new deal by Antonio Conte and ESPN report he is off to Anfield on a free.

The young Englishman went to Jurgen Klopp’s Melwood training ground in March for a trial and must have done enough to convince the German boss.

The box-to-box star left childhood club Brighton for the West London under-11 side and his most senior appearance came in the Checkatrade Trophy against Swindon.

Fellow Englishman Solanke, also 20, will be able to help Christie-Davies after making the same move last summer and forcing his way, gradually, into the first-team squad.

Solanke said at the time: “Every time I see Liverpool, there’s such a family nature, there’re a lot of young players doing well at the club, so I think it will be a good place for me to develop my career.

“As a young player, you always want to see the club you’re at pushing young players through.

“Liverpool’s got a lot of good young players, so hopefully everyone can play their part.

“As a young player you just want to reach your full potential, so to have good players around you and a good manager to help will be really good.

“I just want to make an impact. Hopefully when I get my opportunity I can take it and help the team.”

Solanke managed just 17 minutes of senior football at Stamford Bridge and has already 582 Prem minutes with Liverpool, as well as four Champions League appearances.

Christie-Davies signed from Brighton as an Under-11 and is a box-to-box central midfielder who can score goals. He made his youth team debut while still an Under-15 in 2012/13 before going on to feature in 10 games the following season, scoring his first goal against Newcastle in April.

In 2016/17, he worked solely with the development squad and started our maiden fixture in the Checkatrade Trophy against Swindon.
