BBNaija Efe makes case for internet fraudsters

- BBNaija 2017 winner, Efe, is currently trending on the internet and not for good reasons

- He has received major backlash from people on social media for what they believe is his justification for yahoo boys

- This is coming after EFFC recently arrested some alleged yahoo boys at a club in Lagos

Earlier on, reported the news of how operatives of the EFCC raided some night clubs and arrested 12 suspects with 10 cars recovered. According to reports, the suspects arrested were alleged internet fraudsters also known as yahoo boys.

This sparked arguments on social media with some people for the alleged yahoo boys and others, against them. BBNaija 2017 winner, Efe, also aired his opinion on the issue and it didn't sit well with people who felt he was in support of these criminals.

In his words, "Yahoo boys bring money into the economy, Politicians steal money and take it out of our economy. Nigerians please who is justified?"

His tweet immediately went viral on the social media platform. Many people criticized him for supporting the internet fraudster and justifying their actions.

Reacting to the criticisms and backlash, Efe later took to the Twitter platform to clarify the issue. According to his recent tweet, he made insisted that he did not in any way support internet fraud as he was only sharing a food for thought.
