- Yerry Mina is reportedly making a loan move to Liverpool
- The 23-year-old signed for Barcelona in the January window
- Barcelona will face Levante and Sociedad to end the season
Liverpool will reportedly take Barcelona defender Yerry Mina on loan next season, reported by Daily Star, quoting Spanish media El Chiringuito.
The Colombia international joined Barca from Palmeiras in January but has managed just five appearances for the Spanish champions.
The 23-year-old now looks set to leave Enersto Valverde's side on loan next season to further his development.
According Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito, the Merseyside club have struck a deal with Barca to take the Colombian for the 2018/19 campaign.
Coach Jurgen Klopp currently has five central defenders at Anfield but he is yet to decide on his preferred partner for Virgil van Dijk.
Top Spanish clubs like Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal and Celta Vigo are also said to be interested in loaning the promising defender.
Mina, who cost La Blaugrana £11m five months ago, has struggled to displace Valverde's preferred partnership of Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti.
Valverde recently revealed why Mina's has limited game time: "Yerry Mina? I have four centre-backs and I usually name three on the [matchday] list.
"Those who have been playing are Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti, and when Thomas Vermaelen's played, he's done well."
Mina has an £88m release clause in his five-year contract with the Nou Camp outfit which would expire until the summer of 2023.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.con earlier announced Barcelona signed the center-back from Brazilian side Palmeiras.
Barcelona have continued their unbeaten run in La Liga and with two games to go they are set to become the first team to go without losing a match in modern era in the league.
They will be facing Levante in the penultimate fixture away from home then end the season with a home game to Real Sociedad.
