Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has made it clear that he will be happy if the Blues' board can make public clarification on his future at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have lost their Premier League title this season to Manchester City who are now the new champions, and there have been news that Conte would leave this summer.
Chelsea will face Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night, May 9, before their final League game on Sunday at Newcastle United.
Their last match this season will be in the FA Cup final where they will face rivals Manchester United on May 19 at the Wembley stadium.
''There are two weeks and this season will finish and you will know if there is a different situation or if you see me again next season.
“It is very difficult to comment on any speculation because it has been around me from the start of the season after the first game against Burnley.
“I think you understood this speculation is not important for me because my focus is only to work in the best possible way with my players.
“Right now it is important to be focused on the present and to finish this season in the best possible way.
“This is not my task to tell if I did a good job, or if I have a good team for next season, or if we are building something important.
“There is the club and people able to make judgement about this season. I think I am the last person to make a judgment on it.” Antonio Conte explained according to UK Sun.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea are reportedly planning a transfer swoop that will see Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone come to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to have been a long term admirer of Simeone and he is poised on bringing the Argentine to Stamford Bridge this summer.
And should he decide to leave the Spanish club this summer, then Simeone will want to win the Europa League title as his side will face Marseille in the final.
