Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly ready to leave the club this summer and make a return to Premier League side Manchester United.

Ronaldo has been superb for Los Blancos this season as he has helped the club qualify for the final of the Champions League where they will face Liverpool.

The 33-year-old Portugal international has scored 42 goals in 41 games, including 15 in the Champions League.

But despite his incredible form this term for Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be unhappy with his current contract at the Bernabeu.

His rival at Barcelona Lionel Messi earns more than the ex-United star and reports in Spain have said that he is willing to make a huge decision if things do not change soon.

According to report by Don Balon, Cristiano Ronaldo has told Real Madrid chiefs that he wants increase in his wages for him not to dump the club for a move to Old Trafford.

Previously, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United are willing to let go David De Gea to Real Madrid only if they can get star player Cristiano Ronaldo in return.

The Spain international has been a long-term target for Real and reports have claimed the Bernabeu outfit are preparing to go all out to land De Gea this summer.

President Florentino Perez is desperate to land a new Galactico at the end of the season and the Red Devils' keeper has been tipped as the prime target.
