Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly told the Blues chiefs that he will not sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the ongoing season.
Courtois has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, and according to the latest report, the Belgium international wants to finish his contract at Chelsea and leave as a free agent.
According to Spanish reporter José Ramón de la Morena, on El Transistor, he revealed that Thibaut Courtois is desperate to leave the Premier League in the next 12 months.
The report also stated that the 25-year-old is tired of living without his daughter who is in Spain.
Chelsea who have lost their Premier League title to Manchester City are now expected to be looking for a replacement for Thibaut Courtois.
In July 2011, Courtois joined Chelsea for a reported £8 million, and was immediately loaned to Atlético Madrid.
In three seasons in Spain, he won the Europa League in 2012, the Copa del Rey in 2013 and the La Liga title in 2014.
Courtois returned to Chelsea in July 2014, and in his first season, he helped them win the League Cup and the Premier League title.
He made his senior international debut in October 2011 becoming the youngest goalkeeper to represent Belgium and has since earned over 50 caps and appeared at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2016.
