Governor Rochas Okorocha sure knows how to be benevolent to the people of his state and this is once again reflected in the grand gesture he recently showed to a heavily pregnant woman.
Be it through his foundation or directly from him, Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has definitely touched the lives of many in the state. From feeding thousands of the less privileged to providing shelter for the homeless, he seems to be a man of the people.
On workers' day which falls on May 1, the governor proved himself to be a cheerful giver once more when he donated a whooping sum of N1m in cash to a level three Imo worker with the Civil Service Commission who took part in the match past exercise marking Workers day in the state.
Perhaps the fact that she was heavily pregnant and still took part in the match past exercise, was what caught the generous governor's attention. Well, it was all smiles for her as she received the money from him.

When asked by the governor if she prayed before leaving the house, she had this to say: "Yes your Excellency, I prayed God to grant me grace to be recognized by the governor but I am amazed by the answer I am getting now... Praise the Lord."
The post was shared on the official social media page for the Imo state goverment.
Recall some time ago, while celebrating the 20th anniversary of Rochas Foundation, he changed the lives of an orphan and her siblings. To mark the anniversary, he gave her a brand new car, a house and N2.7m.
