A tragic incident occurred at Yikpata camp in Kwara state, after a serving corps member slumped and died on the parade ground.
The corp member named Eva Amadi a graduate of Oil & Gas, from the University of Port-Harcourt, was said to have died from a bone fraction at the parade ground.
Eva slumped at the parade ground on April 23, and was attended to at the camp’s health clinic, before she was referred to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
Sadly, she was confirmed dead at the hospital, a friend of hers posted a picture of her on Instagram, lamenting why the hospital was 2 hours from the camp.
She further complained on the camp clinic not having enough medical facilities to carter for the medical needs of corps members, which resulted to her friend's death.
She wrote: ''Unfortunately, we lost a Corp member here in kwara State today.. At Yikpata Camp.. May her soul rest in peace.... So sad��''
