Liverpool players returned to training for the first time after their Champions League triumph over AS Roma on Tuesday, April 24 in a relaxed mood.
Two goals each from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino and one from Sadio Mane ensured the Reds claimed a 5-2 victory over their Italian counterpart in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League fixture.
Meanwhile, having performed well in that encounter Salah and Firmino were all smiles as they trained at Melwood on Thursday afternoon.
Missing in the fold was Sadio Mane, who was reportedly sighted visiting a hospital earlier during the day. The Senegalese was pictured walking into the Spire Hospital in Liverpool with a slight limp.
The 26-year-old was said to have spent about 30 minutes in the hospital before heading elsewhere.
The brace heroes in their triumph over Roma were seen exchanging jokes with defender Virgil van Dijk at various points of Thursday's training session.
Georginio Wijnaldum, who came in as a substitute for injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also messed around with Alberto Moreno.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was his usual chirpy self after another useful contribution on the European stage from the academy graduate.
James Milner and Danny Ings were involved in the session. Milner set a Champions League record for assists during the game against Roma, while Ings played for a chunk after replacing Salah.
Liverpool face Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday before next Wednesday's game against Roma.
