Bale reveals he will stay at Real Madrid despite challenging times

- Reports suggest Bale will stay at Real Madrid despite being frustrated

- The Welshman was an unused substitute in the match against Bayern

- Real Madrid will play Leagnes in a La Liga match over the weekend

Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale has reportedly said he will not attempt to force a move away from the Bernabeu despite being denied game time.

According to the Guardian the Welshman is still happy with Los Blancos and will fight for his place in the side rather than move on in the summer.

The 28-year-old was bitterly disappointed to be an unused substitute in Real's 2-1 win over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

The Spanish duo of Lucas Vazquez and Isco made the starting lineup ahead of him while Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema were brought in the second half.

Bale played just 36 minutes across two legs with Paris Saint-Germain and spent the first leg of the quarter-final with Juventus on the bench.

Bale played only 45 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Max Alegri's side but qualified through a last minute gasp penalty from Ronaldo.

The former Tottenham man has missed 14 matches through injury but has contributed 14 goals and provided eight assists across all competitions this season which only Ronaldo has scored more at the club.

Bale is an expensive asset to keep on the bench but Real may take a decision on him if he is not a part of Zidane's plans.

The 28-year-old will definitely start against Leganes who knocked Real out of the quarter finals of Copa del Rey at the weekend at the Bernabeu.

But Bale could make an appearance in the Champions League second leg semi final fixture against Bayern next Tuesday.
