- Arsenal will play Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi finals first leg
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has slammed the media for misinterpreting the incident that happened between himself and Alexander Lacazette in training.
Daily Mail claimed the pair were involved in a scuffle during a training session in preparation for their Europa League semi final match against Atletico Madrid on Thursday, March, 26.
It was reported that both players clashed as they went up for an aerial challenge during a training drill before squaring up to each other.
And also said the duo seemed unhappy with each other and were swiftly separated before the issue was quashed.
However the Spaniard took to his Twitter handle and said: "It's called banter you click baiters."
Arsene Wenger was preparing his side for tonight's Europa League semi-final first leg at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger is hoping his wins the last piece of silverware as Arsenal boss before his departure this summer.
The 68-year-old confirmed the club's management sacked him after 22-years in charge of the north London side.
The Frenchman will be hoping to make the Europa League final his last match in charge of the north London club in May.
Arsenal are currently in sixth position in the Premier League as their chances of a top four finish in the league have diminished.
However lifting the Europa League in May gives them an automatic ticket to play Champions League football next season.
