Over the years, Some amazing ideas have being created by Nigerians over the world who keep making the country proud and changing the single story that often says Nigerian youths are lazy.
One of this amazing talents is Nasir Yammama, an IT graduate from Middlesex University, London.
Nasir hails from a northern Nigerian village called Yammama, where his father owned a large farm.
Due to his love for technology and his interest in helping poor farmers in the rural areas to expand and grow their business.
He founded Verdant AgriTech in 2014 when he was just 24, a company that supports rural crop farmers, providing them credit facilities, weather information, access to market, and agricultural extension services which they can achieve through their mobile phones.
Nasir’s entrepreneurial talent has opened doors for him and he has gained much recognition. In 2017, he met Queen Elizabeth of England who bestowed him with the Queen’s Young Leaders Award.
