Salah to light up Ramadan with dedicated lanterns

Egypt international Mohamed Salah has been an integral part of Liverpool's campaign this season in the Premier League and also in the Champions League.

Salah is now turning his superb performances on the pitch to his faith as he will be lighting up the Muslim world with dedicated ‘Mo Salah’ lanterns to mark next month’s Ramadan.

The tradition of such lanterns stretches back more than 1,000 years and they were first used to light the path for the Calish when he arrived.

Ramadan is a 30-day fast which is compulsory for all Muslims in the world according to the Holy Quran and also as mandated by Prophet Mohamed (S.A.W).

The name derives from the Arabic root ‘Ramida’ meaning ‘scorching heat’, and Mohamed Salah is also expected to take part in it in May.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, April 24, Mohamed Salah continued with his rich vein of form this season for Liverpool scoring two goals and also provided two assists against Roma.

He is a summer transfer target for Spanish champions Real Madrid who are ready to bring him to the Bernabeu.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League campaigners Liverpool are reportedly ready to sell striker Mohamed Salah this summer only if the club win the 2017/18 Champions League title.

Mohamed Salah has been superb this season in the Premier League and also in the Champions League and has been heavily linked with a move out of Liverpool.

Spanish champions Real Madrid are said to be leading the race to sign the former Chelsea striker who is also wanted by their La Liga rivals Barcelona.
