Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly backed Brazil international Neymar to join Manchester United this summer.
The 26-year-old joined Paris Saint Germain from the Catalan club last summer in a world record fee of €222 million but has been heavily linked with a move away from his present club.
Leading the race to sign the former Santos forward is the reigning UEFA Champions League side, Real Madrid just one year after joining the Parisians.
Neymar has been impressive for the Parc Des Princes side with 28 goals and 13 assists in all competitions this season.
However, he is said to be unhappy at the club after his side crashed out of the URFA elite championship in the second round – losing both legs of the round to Real Madrid 5-2 on aggregate.
The Brazil is planning to quit the French League side to join a more competitive league ahead of the coming season.
Spanish news outlet Don Balon, claims Neymar will leave PSG this summer due to the many offers he has on the table especially from United and Madrid.
The news outfit also added that the Brazilian is open to joining the Old Trafford outfit or Madrid at the end of the season.
The Argentine star has however advised his former colleague to join the Red Devils, as he doesn’t want him to sign for Los Blancos.
The attacker is currently recovering from the foot injury he suffered in late February while in action for PSG, but the Brazil ace is hoping to be fit for the World Cup in Russia this summer.
He won the UEFA Champions League title with the Catalan club in 2015 along with two Spanish League titles in 2014 and 2015.
The Brazil winger has already won the French Ligue 1 title with PSG this summer.
