Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that HRM James Ayatse fiercely decried the killing of seven persons suspected to be herdsmen in Gboko, the traditional headquarters of the Tiv nation.

In a statement issued in Makurdi, and signed by Freddie Adamgbe Ayatse, the special assistant on media to the Tor Tiv, the monarch faulted the action of the hoodlums for taking the law into their hands instead of allowing the security agencies to act on any perceived security threat in the area.

He further warned youths in his domain to desist from posting false alarms on social media that may heighten tensions, thereby worsening the already critical security condition in the state.
