Love they say, knows no boundaries or barriers and that, in its whole meaning is what this unique couple have shown. The two love birds identified as Harrison and Hemakshi who are from Kenya and India respectively, wedded at the Holy Ghost Cathedral in Mombasa, Kenya, on Saturday, April 7.
After exchanging their vows, Harrison Shikokoti and his newly married wife Hemakshi Harania threw a lavish reception at Wild Waters in Nyali, Mombasa where friends and relatives invited to witness the rare wedding were well treated.

Although interracial marriages are common in the Kenya, interreligious marriages however, are rare and that is what makes Shikokoti and Harania's wedding a once in a blue moon occurence.
Shikokoti followed the footsteps of his kinsman, Timothy Khamala commonly referred to as Bukusu darling, who rose to fame after he fell in love and later married his girlfriend of Asian-origin in Webuye.
Khamala had married Sarika Patel but due to cultural and religious differences, their union did not last for long as they had anticipated.
We wish Shikokoti and Harania all the best in their union.
