- Barcelona played a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo in La Liga
- Dembele and Alcacer scored for the league leaders
- Valverde's side remain the only unbeaten side in Spain
Barcelona were held to a 2-2 draw in a week 33 match in La Liga played at the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos.
It was clearly an end-to-end stuff to the delight of the fans as both teams both created numerous scoring chances but could only convert a few.
Enersto Valverde rested first team players including Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti, Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba.
The first real chance of the match fell into the hands of Celta Vigo's Maxi Gomez as his shot came off the upright.
Barca broke the deadlock through their French summer signing Ousmane Dembele as he slammed in a shot with his left boot in the 36th minute.
Just before half time Celta responded as Hernandez powered-in a low cross from the right to Jonny who was on hand to tap into an empty net.
The home team dominated the second stanza in the early minutes of half but the introduction of Messi for Philippe Coutinho changed the complexion the game.
Nelson Semedo made a cool run down the right and drove in his cross as Paulinho side-footed the ball but Paco Alcacer got the final touch to make it 2-1.
The match took a dramatic turn as Sergio Roberto who came on for Andre Gomes fouled Iago Aspas who was free on goal and the referee showed him a straight red in the 71 minute.
It was Aspas who leveled the scores for the home team as he steals a cross meant for Marc Ter Stegen in the near post to make the scores 2-2.
Hernandez should have won it for Celta as he was one-on-one with Ter Stegen but tried to dribble his way back before taking the shot but Lucas Digne made the decisive clearance.
Both teams shared the spoils as the Catalans remain on top of the log with 83 points with five games to spare and remain the only unbeaten side in La Liga.
