Paris Saint Germain are reportedly planning to unsettle Real Madrid by offering them a deal to sign their star midfielder Toni Kroos this summer.
The Parisians are said to be uncomfortable with the Spanish side’s attempt to land Brazil international Neymar barely one season after joining the club in a world record fee in 2017.
Meanwhile, the French League outfit are hoping to get Los Blancos off the back of their player by trying to lure the Germany international away from the Santiago Bernabeu according to Spanish publication Don Balon.
PSG are said to have established contact with the former Bayern Munich player’s representatives to try their luck ahead of a summer swoop.
The French side are also willing to pay the sum of €200 million (£173M) to seal a deal, but the player’s agent has warned the Parc Des Princes outfit to wait until the end of the season before bidding to sign his client.
Kroos has three more seasons on his current contract with the Galacticos having joined them from Bayern in the summer of 2014, and he has led them to two Champions League victory.
The German midfielder was earlier this season linked with a move to Manchester United, while a couple of other European clubsides are also said to be interested in the playmaker.
However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez cannot wait for this season to be over as he is planning to rid the team of unproductive players.
One of his major aim is to sign Neymar from PSG but needs to raise the funds to pull off such a deal.
Kroos joined Bayern Munich at the age of 16, but as a youth player and got promoted to the reserve team in 2007 where he scored goals in 13 matches.
His performances was so impressive that he got invited to the main team a season after – and he scored 13 goals in 130 appearances for the Bavarians.
In between his reign at the Allianz Arena, he was sent to Bayer Leverkusen on a season long loan deal, where he scored 10 goals in 43 matches for the Bundesliga outfit.
He eventually joined Madrid in 2014 and he has scored 10 goals in 119 games. He has also won three Champions League titles – one while at Bayern and two at his current club, Madrid.
Kroos also has in his trophy cabinet several domestic titles from both European Leagues in between 2007 and now.
