Zahavi says Ronaldo and Neymar will not play in the same club

- Super agent Pini Zahavi hints Neymar can not play in the same club with Ronaldo

- The Brazilian superstar has been linked to join Real Madrid in the summer

- Zahavi was the intermediary when Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona last season

According to super agent Pini Zahavi Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the only three superstars in world football and should not play in the same club.

The Brazilian have been heavy linked for a return to Spain to join his former club's rivals Real Madrid for another world-record fee.

As noted by the super agent, it would be strange for Neymar to escape where he would be in the shadow of Ronaldo just as he was second best to Messi.

Zahavi acted as intermediary in the Brazilian's £200m move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last summer told Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy the Brazilian left the Blaugrana in the first place to step out of Messi's shadow.

"Neymar did what he had to. There are only three football superstars Messi, Cristiano and Neymar. They can't play in one club.

"At Barca, Ney always was the No. 2. He was the second to shoot from free-kicks, second to the penalties, second to everything.

"He came to Spain as a young boy. He grew up. Now he's 26 and has eight or nine years at the top level. He needs independence."

Neymar statistics are fairly remarkable scoring 25 goals and providing 16 assists in a combined 27 Ligue 1 appearances.

However, PSG submitted to Real's supremacy in the last 16 of the Champions League, and there have been rumours about Neymar not being happy at the Parc des Princes.

However age is catching up with Ronaldo, and it will then be vital for Real to replace him with a player of Neymar's calibre.
