Barcelona youngster Ousmane Dembele open to Arsenal move this summer

Barcelona summer signing Ousmane Dembele is reportedly opened to join Arsenal at the end of this season according to Tribal Football.

The French attacker signed a five-year deal worth €105 million last year, but his failure to find regular playing time at the Camp Nou is forcing him to reconsider his stance at the club.

Dembele, 20, played just five minutes in their 3-0 disappointing defeat to AS Roma in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League second leg clash at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday, April 10.

However, the France international is said to be uncomfortable with Barca chasing Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann this summer.

Spanish news tabloid Don Balon claim the former Borussia Dortmund forward will entertain the idea of joining the Gunners this summer.

He said to be eyeing a reunion with his former teammate, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Emirates Stadium, and he would also jump at the chance to be seen as Arsenal's talisman.

Dembele will likely be given more responsibility at Arsenal, compared to his present club where the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho are ranked above him.

He will clock 21 years in May and the future is very bright for him – he is an enterprising forward, who scored his only goal so far for his club in their Champions League 3-0 victory over Chelsea last month.

The Frenchman began his professional career at Rennes second team in 2014, and having scored 13 goals in 22 matches.

One season after, he was promoted to the main team, and against he was impressive, scoring 12 goals in 12 games for the French side.

He joined Dortmund in the summer of 2016, and barely one season at the Westfalenstadion, he was signed by the Catalan club, to replace Neymar, who joined Paris Saint Germain last summer.

However, he is on the verge of winning his first major title with the Blaugrana as they edge closer to winning this year’s La Liga title.
