They say there's no sunshine without a rain. This directly reflects the marital life of Yoruba actress, Foluke Daramola who recently revealed the hardest point in her life was when she walked out of her first marriage.
Speaking to Saturday Beats, the actress revealed that being a celebrity is a blessing and a curse. While it opens many doors, society also sets impossible targets they expect every celebrity to meet and in trying to balance between their reality and a projected saint image, they sometimes, fall short.
Daramola who recently clocked 40 years of age also went on to speak on one of the most difficult times she faced in her life when she walked out of her first marriage. She said: "A turbulent time for me was when I had to leave my first marriage. I would say I left the marriage as a shadow of myself. When I left that marriage, I felt less than myself and I felt the world had come to an end. That was a time in my life that was very turbulent. What I dread most in my life is to have a broken home and I experienced it with my first marriage. So I would say that was a time in my life that was really turbulent.
