Mourinho speaks on Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United

- Jose Mourinho has rubbished reports linking Paul Pogba with a move away from Man Utd

- The former Chelsea coach stated that the Frenchman will not be leaving Old Trafford

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has finally responded to reports that Frenchman Paul Pogba is regretting joining the club and could leave this summer.

The former Chelsea coach has now stated clearly that all the news linking Paul Pogba will a move away from the clubs are not true.

Pogba was said to be furious with Mourinho with the reports claiming that he is not happy with the position he currently plays at Manchester United.

"I think you are nice with your words because when you say lot of speculation you should say a lot of lies. Don't be nice, be objective and say lies.

"It's a big lie that our relation is not good, it's a big lie that we don't communicate, a big lie that we don't agree with his positions and his involvement in the dynamic of the team.

"It's easy and honest and objective to say Paul didn't play well against Newcastle but some of the guys they are paid millions, don't let people read things that are not true.

"It's my problem and Paul's problem to improve his performance level, you don't need to be a liar." the former Real Madrid coach was quoted by BBC.

Earlier, had reported how La Liga giants Real Madrid are plotting over £120 million summer transfer move for Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba.

The 24-year-old Frenchman rejoined the Red Devils in the then world-record fee in the range of £89 million in 2016 in a five-year deal.

But the Champions League defending champions will be hoping they can land the midfielder this time having missed out from securing his signature while at Juventus few seasons back.

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit came from a goal down to beat Paris Saint Germain 3-1 in the first leg of their Uefa Champions League round of 16 clash in Spain on Wednesday, but are 4th on the La Liga table.
