Real Madrid host PSG, Porto face Liverpool in Champions League round 16

- Real Madrid will face PSG tonight in their Champions League round of 16 tie

- Brazilian star Neymar and Portuguese forward Ronaldo are the two men to watch out for

- FC Porto will also be facing Premier League side Liverpool

The Santiago Bernabeu in Spain will be the center of attraction tonight, February 14, as reigning European League champions Real Madrid will face Paris-Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

Real Madrid may not be finding it rosy in the Spanish La Liga this season as they are 19 points behind leaders Barcelona, but they know their only chance of winning any title this term is in the Champions League.

PSG have eliminated Real Madrid in their two previous knockout encounters (1992/93 UEFA Cup, 1993/94 Cup Winners Cup), both times in the quarter-finals.

But Real Madrid have reached the semi-finals in each of the last seven Champions League campaigns, also a record run in the history of the competition.

Brazilian star Neymar and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be the two men many football fans will look out for tonight in the Champions League.

Neymar has been superb for Paris-Saint-Germain since he joined the French club from Barcelona, while Ronaldo will go into this match with superb confidence after scoring 3 goals in his last match.

In the other match that will be played tonight, Italian side FC Porto will host Premier League giants Liverpool in their own Champions League round of 16 first leg.

Having been dumped out of the FA Cup, and also have no chance of winning the Premier League title this season, Liverpool's only realistic hope is winning the Champions League title.

Porto have a near-full complement of players to choose from including striker Vincent Aboubakar who has scored five goals in the competition so far. Defender Felipe is suspended, while Ivan Marcano and Andre Andre are doubts for the game.

Liverpool will also be hoping that their superb striker Mohamed Salah click tonight as he has been superb for the Reds this season.

The kick off time for these two Champions League games tonight is 8.45pm Nigerian time.
