- Zinedine Zidane has stated that he is not concerned about being sacked by his employers
- The Real Madrid coach also says he is focused on the match against Paris Saint Germain
- Los Blancos are placed fourth, 17 points behind league leaders, Barcelona in La Liga
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has declared that he is not concerned about his future at the club as Los Blancos prepare to take on Paris St-Germain.
Zidane became the first manager to win the Champions League back to back and also won the La Liga with Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are 17 points behind fierce rivals Barcelona which has put the Frenchman’s job under immense scrutiny.
With Los Blancos also out of the King's Cup, the clash against PSG is an opportunity to salvage Zidane reputation at the Bernabeu.
"Right now I'm not thinking about my future,” Zidane said.
“I’m only thinking about the game as it's the only thing we can control so we're focusing on preparing for the game and we'll see what happens.
"Every game and every training session is important to me but my future is not important.
“I’m very happy about playing these types of games, today there's no pressure in particular, we've prepared the game in the same way we always do
"There will always be pressure here, it's something habitual, but I'm going to keep enjoying myself."
The match against PSG will be Zidane’s first match against a French side since taking the reins at Santiago Bernabeu in 2016, but admitted he had nothing to prove back in his home country.

"We're not going to change what people think of us, all we can do is work hard, and working hard is my passion,” added Zidane.
“I try to transmit things to my players but I have nothing to prove tomorrow, I just want to play the game, I don't care what people say about me.”
Real Madrid have a daunting task to stop the star-studded Parisians in a crunchy Champions League round 16 first leg tie in Madrid.
