Meanwhile, Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, said it is wrong to classify Fulani herders as killer herdsmen.

According to him, linking a particular tribe to a crime is wrong and a form of bigotry. He said herdsmen who killed should be labeled as criminals and not linked to the Fulani tribe.

Okorocha made this statement while receiving the national leaders of the Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim led by its Supreme Head, the Prelate His Eminence Solomon Alao, at the Government House Owerri at the weekend.
