Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has congratulated Chief Willie Obiano, the governor of Anambra state, over his re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Okorocha also used the opportunity to urge his own party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) to resolve all internal wrangling ahead of future elections in the country.
The governor, according to the New Telegraph, attributed internal crisis in the APC to the loss the party recorded at the election.
He also alleged a lack of genuine commitment on the part if his party members in Anambra state during the election.
Okorocha reportedly said Obiano’s victory was too clear to be challenged.
He thus advised the candidates of other political parties, who partook in the election, to congratulate Obiano and avoid going to court to question the victory.
He however said with the position of the APC in the election, it shows that the party has bright chances in the South East in the future.
