Buhari belongs only to Katsina - Chukwuemeka Ezeife
- Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife has blasted President Muhammadu Buhari for his poor treatment of Igbos, stating that the president belongs only to Katsina
- The former governor of Anambra stated that before Buhari became president, there were no such agitations as currently being witnessed in the south-east
- He chided the president for being the engineer of the nation’s problems, and stated that Buhari had reneged on federal character
President Muhammadu Buhari has been bashed by Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former Governor of Anambra state, for marginalising, dehumanising and humiliating Igbos.
In a chat with Vanguard, the Igbo chieftain chided the president for blaming south-east leaders for the agitation in the region, during his Independence Day speech.

Legit.ng notes that Ezeife stated that Buhari only belongs to his home state of Katsina.
He stated: “Buhari is the engineer of the problems. He is trying to push the south-east out of Nigeria by marginalising, dehumanising and humiliating them.
“The young ones couldn’t understand what he was up to and so they reacted as young people.
“We didn’t have these problems under President Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’Adua or Goodluck Jonathan; but immediately Buhari took the oath of office and swore to protect the Constitution, he reneged on such things as the federal character.
“He told us he belongs to everybody and to nobody, but we have seen that he belongs to Katsina.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari hates Igbos and that he knew about this hatred a long time ago.
The former Anambra state governor insisted that President Buhari's appointments were a reflection of his hatred for Igbos.
