Entry Requirements:
- UTME: Five SSCE credit passes including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language.
- Direct Entry: Two 'A' level passes from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
University of Calabar direct entry admission in Law
Civil law
Entry Requirements:
- UTME: Five SSCE credit passes including English, Literature in English and Mathematics. Direct Entry: (1) Two 'A' level passes in Arts and Social Science (2) NCE/OND/First Degree (Second Class Lower)
Law
- Candidates for the LLB degree programme must possess Five (5) `O’ level credits to include English Language and Literature in English in not more than two sittings.
- Direct Entry candidates must pssess two `A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects or first degree.
Accounting, Banking, And Finance, Marketing
1. Unical Accounting JAMB direct entry: Admission Requirements
- Five Credit Passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
- In addition to this, the applicant must also possess Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Banking, and Finance, the University of Calabar Diploma in Business Administration, IJMB, or any other equivalent qualification that may be accepted by the Department.
- The candidates will pursue a three-year programme in any of the two disciplines.
2. Unical Banking and Finance Direct Entry: Admission Requirements

- Five Credit Passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
- In addition to meeting the basic admission requirements stated above, also possess Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Banking, and Finance.
- The University of Calabar Diploma in Business Administration
- IJMB, or any other equivalent qualification that may be accepted by the Department. The candidates will pursue a three-year programme in any of the two disciplines.
3. Unical Business Management Direct Entry: Admission Requirements
- Five Credit Passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
- In addition to meeting the basic admission requirements stated above, also possess Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Banking, and Finance.
- The University of Calabar Diploma in Business Administration

4. Unical Marketing Direct Entry: Admission Requirements
- Five Credit Passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
- In addition to meeting the basic admission requirements stated above, also possess Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Banking, and Finance
- The University of Calabar Diploma in Business Administration, IJMB, or any other equivalent qualification that may be accepted by the Department.

Medicine and Surgery
Entry Requirements:
- UTME: Five SSCE credit passes including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English Language.
- Direct Entry: 'A' level passes to include Physics, Chemistry Biology/Zoology in addition to UTME requirements.
- (2) BSC, BOS, etc. in relevant fields.
Medicine and Dentistry
- Five (5) ‘O’ Level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
- Direct entry candidates must possess Two ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Nursing, Direct Entry Candidates who possess NRN Certificate or its approved equivalent
